The Log Periodic Antennas
Started in 2002, the CODALEMA project use at first some of the log-spiral antennas composing the Nançay DecAMetric array (DAM), made of 144 of them.

Up to 11 of these broadband antenna (frequency bandwidth of 1-100 MHz) had their signals amplified (35 dB) and recorded in a waveform mode (8 bits ADC, 500 MHz sampling frequency, 10 μs recording time) by conventional oscilloscopes triggered by an embryo of a particle detector array. They were forming the first configuration of the CODALEMA experiment, for the first time presented in international conferences in 2003.
